These terms are the agreement between you and Megabyte Labs for using JingleBird: the app and this website. They include the terms of our paid plans and our content rules. Please read them before you sign up.
Who we are
JingleBird is run by Megabyte Labs. Email: support@mbyte.ai.
- JingleBird is an app for iPhone and Android phones that turns your own photos and videos into short vertical videos (reels) for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- We offer JingleBird only in the United States.
- In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Megabyte Labs. “You” means the person, or the business, using JingleBird.
Who can use it
You can use JingleBird if you are 18 or older and in the United States.
- Age. The app asks your date of birth when you first open it. If we learn that a user is under 18, we delete the account and its data.
- Paying. To buy a plan, you need a US billing address.
- You or your business. You can use JingleBird for yourself or for your business. If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm that you’re allowed to, and “you” includes that business.
- Agreeing. You agree to these terms when you create your account.
The app stores
These terms apply alongside the terms of the app store you download JingleBird from.
- On iPhone, the app itself is licensed to you under Apple’s standard license agreement for apps. These terms cover the JingleBird service.
- Apple and Google aren’t responsible for JingleBird, for what it makes, for supporting it, or for any claim about it. We are.
- The app stores don’t bill you for our plans. Payments go through Stripe, as plans, credits and renewal explains.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, with Google or with a link sent to your email. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- Keep your email account secure. Anyone who can read your email may be able to sign in.
- We send receipts and notices to the email address on your account.
Plans, credits and renewal
Start with 3 free reels. When you want more, Pro is US$99 a month for 30 reels and Max is US$199 a month for 80 reels, plus applicable sales tax. These are the same terms as on our pricing page.
Pro: US$99 a month. Max: US$199 a month. Both plus applicable sales tax.
- Currency and tax. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added based on your billing address, where we are registered to collect it. You see the total, with tax, before you pay.
- Free reels. Your first 3 reels are free. No card is needed and you don’t need a plan to use them. Free reels carry a small JingleBird mark.
- Renewal. Your plan renews automatically every month at its price plus tax, charged to your card on the same date each month, until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
- Reels on your plan. Pro gives you 30 reels and Max gives you 80 reels every billing month. One reel uses one credit and makes one finished reel up to 90 seconds long. Unused reels don’t carry over: they expire at the end of each billing month. If a reel fails, you get its credit back.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time in the app (Settings, then Plan and credits, then Cancel plan) or by email to support@mbyte.ai. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- Refunds. If you ask within 3 days of a charge and haven’t made a reel since, we refund it in full. Otherwise there are no partial-month refunds, except as the refund and cancellation policy says.
- Price changes. If the price ever changes, we email you 14 to 30 days before.
- How you pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. On Android you pay in the app. On iPhone the app opens Stripe Checkout in Safari. If a charge ever looks wrong, email us first so we can fix it.
- Receipts. You get an emailed receipt for every charge.
- Who can buy. People 18 or older in the United States, with a US billing address.
Agreeing to the renewal
Before your first payment for a plan, you agree separately that it renews automatically every month until you cancel. We keep a record of that agreement. Once a year, we email you a reminder of your plan’s terms.
If the price changes
We email you 14 to 30 days before a new price starts.
- If you don’t want the new price, cancel before it starts.
- If you’re charged the new price without having cancelled, you can still cancel within 14 days after that first charge, and we refund the unused part of that month.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time. The full rules are in the refund and cancellation policy.
How to cancel
- In the app: Settings, then Plan and credits, then Cancel plan.
- By email: write to support@mbyte.ai from your account’s email address. We process email cancellations within 1 business day and confirm by email. If you use Sign in with Apple and hid your email, tell us that you signed in with Apple, so we can find your account.
Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. We may ask why you’re leaving; answering is optional.
After you cancel, your plan stays active to the end of the month you’ve paid for, then stops. You aren’t charged again. Unused reels expire with the plan.
Nothing in these terms takes away your right to cancel at any time, online in the app or by email.
Refunds
- Within 3 days of a charge. If you ask within 3 days of a charge and haven’t made a reel since, we refund it in full.
- Otherwise, there are no partial-month refunds, except in these two cases:
- you cancel within 14 days after your first charge at a new price, as explained under if the price changes above;
- we close your account when you haven’t broken these terms, or we stop offering JingleBird. Then we refund the unused part of your current month.
To ask for a refund, email support@mbyte.ai from your account’s email address. Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We send approved refunds within 5 business days, and banks usually show them in 5 to 10 business days.
Nothing in these terms limits your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer. Please email us first, so we can fix it.
Your content
What you own
- You own the photos, videos and text you upload, and the reels JingleBird makes from them.
- The music and voiceovers in your reels are licensed to you, not sold. The music and voices section says how you can use them.
- The app and this website belong to us, apart from material we use under license from others.
What we do with it
- You give us permission to store, copy, edit and process your content, and to send it to our service providers, only to make your reels, run and secure JingleBird, and meet our legal duties. This permission ends when your content is deleted.
- We don’t use your photos, videos or reels in our marketing unless you give us permission.
- We don’t train AI models on your content.
- Your reels are private. There is no feed, and nobody sees a reel until you post it.
- Your uploads and reels stay in your account until you delete them or your account.
How we handle personal information is in our privacy policy.
What you’re responsible for
- Only upload photos, videos and text you have the right to use.
- Get permission from the people who appear in your reels. For anyone under 18, get permission from a parent or guardian.
- You’re responsible for what you post, including the words, prices, offers and claims in it.
- You’re the advertiser for what you post. Follow the law and the rules of the sites you post on, including any labels or disclosures they require.
- Voiceovers use a set of stock voices. They aren’t made from your voice, and you can’t use JingleBird to copy anyone’s voice.
- We don’t promise any number of views, followers or sales.
Music and voices in your reels
You can post your reels, with the music and voiceover in them, on your social media accounts, including to promote your business.
The music comes from a licensed library, and the voiceovers use licensed stock voices. We license the music and voices to you only as part of your reel. So:
- Use them only inside the reel JingleBird made. Don’t take the music or the voiceover out of the reel to use on its own or in other videos.
- Don’t sell, license or give the music or voiceovers to anyone else, and don’t add them to a music or sound library.
- Don’t put the music on music streaming services.
- Don’t register the music with YouTube Content ID or any similar system, and don’t claim that you own it.
- Don’t use the music in film, on TV or on the radio.
This permission doesn’t end when your plan ends or when you delete your account, for reels you’ve already made.
Content rules
Don’t use JingleBird to make anything harmful, illegal, or that you don’t have the right to use. These rules come from the law and from the app stores’ rules.
Don’t upload, make, store or share anything with JingleBird that:
- is sexual content involving a child (anyone under 18), or is harmful to a child in any other way;
- shows anyone’s intimate images without their consent, including fake or digitally altered images;
- is obscene or pornographic;
- invades someone’s privacy;
- harasses, threatens or insults anyone;
- attacks people, or stirs up hatred or violence against them, because of their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or another protected trait;
- pretends to be a real person, or shows real people or events in a false way to fool people (deepfakes);
- misleads people about who it came from, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information;
- belongs to someone else and you don’t have the right to use it;
- infringes a copyright, trademark, patent or other rights;
- promotes illegal gambling, money laundering or any other illegal activity, or encourages anyone to commit a crime;
- contains a virus or any other code meant to damage or interrupt a computer or service;
- breaks any law.
Also, don’t try to hack JingleBird, overload it or get around its limits.
We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as US law requires.
To report anything that breaks these rules, email support@mbyte.ai. See report a problem.
If you break the content rules
- We may remove your content or block access to it.
- We may suspend or close your account.
- You may face penalties under the law.
- We report crimes that the law requires us to report.
Copyright complaints
If you think a reel uses your work without permission, email support@mbyte.ai with:
- your name and how to reach you;
- the work you own;
- where the material is, so we can find it;
- a statement that you believe the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law.
We remove or disable material that infringes, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers. More on our support page.
Suspending and closing accounts
You can stop using JingleBird and delete your account at any time. We may remove content, or suspend or close your account, if you break these terms or the content rules, or if the law requires it.
- Deleting your account. In the app, open Settings, then Delete account, or follow the steps on delete your account. Save the reels you want first. Deleted reels can’t be recovered.
- Your plan. If you pay for a plan, deleting your account cancels it, so you are not charged again. Reels left in the current month are lost. Deleting does not refund the current month, except as the refund rules above say.
- If you did nothing wrong. If we close your account when you haven’t broken these terms, or we stop offering JingleBird, we refund the unused part of your current month.
What we keep after an account is deleted, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.
Disclaimers
We work hard to make JingleBird reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We don’t promise that JingleBird will always be available or free of errors, that the words in your reels will be accurate, or that your reels will get any number of views, followers or sales.
This doesn’t limit any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability to you for all claims about JingleBird is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.
These limits don’t apply to fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury, or our violation of the law.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first. If we can’t fix it, you can go to court where you live.
- Talk to us first. Email support@mbyte.ai and give us 30 days to fix the problem before you start a claim.
- The law that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the US state where you live and by US federal law.
- Where. You can bring a claim in the state or federal courts for the county or state where you live, or in small-claims court. If we bring a claim against you, we bring it in those courts too.
- No arbitration. These terms have no arbitration clause. They don’t take away your right to a jury trial or to take part in a class action.

- To resolve a complaint, contact us first.

Export and sanctions
JingleBird is offered only in the United States. You may not use it if you are on a US government list of restricted parties, if you are in a country or region under comprehensive US sanctions, or on behalf of anyone who is. Don’t use JingleBird to break US export laws.
How we send notices
We send receipts and notices, including notice of changes to these terms, by email or in the app, and you agree to get them that way.
- To get them, you need an email account and a device that can open web pages.
- You can save or print any of them.
- You can withdraw this agreement by closing your account.
Changes to these terms
If we make an important change to these terms, we tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it applies.
- The new version shows its new effective date at the top of this page.
- If you don’t agree, cancel and stop using JingleBird before the change applies. If you keep using it after that, the new terms apply.
- Small fixes, such as typos, change only the “Last updated” date.
- Price changes follow the rules under if the price changes above.
- Earlier versions are free on request.
General
- If a court finds part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms, with the pages they link to (the pricing page, the refund and cancellation policy and the privacy policy), are the whole agreement between you and us about JingleBird. On iPhone, Apple’s standard license agreement also covers the app itself. Where it and these terms differ about the JingleBird service, these terms apply.
- The effective date and the last update are shown at the top of this page.
